Emily's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and appellate matters, including representing clients in intellectual property and contract disputes, and assisting clients in responding to investigations by various federal agencies. Prior to joining Grossman, Emily was Counsel at WilmerHale, and before that she clerked for the Honorable M. Page Kelley, the Honorable Rya W. Zobel, and the Honorable Allison D. Burroughs of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Emily earned her law degree magna cum laude from Boston College Law School, where she served as managing editor of the Boston College Law Review. During law school she also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor IV of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and an intern for the Cyberlaw Clinic at the Harvard Law School Berkman Klein Center.
In addition to her law degree, Emily holds a Master of Arts degree in English literature and a Master of Science degree in library and information science. She has worked as a project coordinator at the Harvard Library Office for Scholarly Communication and as a library assistant for Harvard Library’s Information and Technical Services.
